Classes

Envisioning all the possibilities a skill can give you, is the best way to prevent getting stuck in the learning process. It also provides the motivation you need to progress further because you can clearly define your goals beforehand.

Instead of offering several time framed courses on specific subjects, we only have one continuous learning programme. It is applied to every student and here you can learn every topic you wish at your own pace.

João Carqueijeiro Classes

How does it work and how can I apply?

When you come for the first time, you’ll start by making an informal diagnostic to evaluate your previous knowledge, but more importantly, we’ll understand what area of interests you may have.

Maybe you just want to learn how to make pottery. Or maybe you don’t even know what areas of ceramics you’ll enjoy learning yet. Either way you are welcome to decide and try whatever technique you wish. But perhaps you may be an advanced student and wish to perfect your technique in a specific skill. You can count with us to fully guide you in your journey.

We see ourselves more as a studio-school that provides knowledge and less as a co-work for students to mass-produce regularly. Instead, we encourage you to thoroughly master all the skills you will need to be self-sufficient in your ceramic life.
